The PE Association are a team of highly qualified, dedicated and professional coaches and teachers with a long history of running and managing intra-school competitions throughout the South West.
We work together with you and your school to deliver a range of physical activites and sports competitions for Key Stages 1 and 2. Additionally, we also:
- Work with a wide variety of local partners, enabling the delivery (directly and indirectly) of nationally-funded sports programmes
- Provide leadership, expertise and resources to improve the variety and accessibility of sporting opportunities for local people by actively developing clubs, coaching and competition
- Supporting sporting activities in educational establishments
- Connecting with schools to get more people involved in sport and physical activity.
Safeguarding
We recognise that we all have a duty of care towards children, young people, and vulnerable adults; and are fully committed to promoting the safety and wellbeing of children, young people, and vulnerable adults engaged in sporting activities locally.
The North Somerset PE Association recognises that we have a responsibility towards children, young people, and vulnerable adults, and can help to protect them from poor practice and abuse.
The North Somerset PE Association Designated Safeguarding Officers
We have 2 designated Safeguarding Officers, all of whom have received regular nationally-recognised safeguarding training.
