NSSPEA Small Primary Swimming festival (Open)

Swimming, 10/02/2022 1:15 pm - 10/02/2022 3:30 pm at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre
Years: 4, 5, 6

An opportunity to bring a team of swimmers to participate in a primary swimming festival.  The majority of scheduled races will be non competitive, but there will be a couple of categories where swimmers can race and be timed.  Outside of these races, all events will be non scoring and the emphasis is on providing swimmers with the opportunity to achieve their personal best.  The event overview will hopefully guide staff in selecting the appropriate swimmers for each event/discipline.  As well as individual events, a couple of fun relays will also be included.

A small school for this event is deemed as having less than 100 pupils in year 4, 5 and 6 (or 130 in KS2)

A full risk assessment and essential information will be shared ahead of the festival.

The latest Covid 19 guidance will be followed and a decision will be made as to whether the event can proceed safely, with early notice given (as possible) where postponement is deemed appropriate.
